Pima County CHW Coalition

The Arizona Community Health Workers Association in partnership with Pima County, has been holding a Pima County Community Health Worker (CHW) Coalition/Community of Practice (CoP) to assess training needs, establish leadership for the network and create social mediums to enable CHWs to stay in touch with one another. The meetings have been taking place once monthly since January 2023, at the Community Foundation Campus in Tucson, AZ. Community Health Workers, Community Health representatives, Promotores(as), CHW organization, health systems, healthcare providers, and members working in the public health field within the CHW workforce are joining the coalition to receive trainings, plan out strategies, and provide sources to aid the workforce in Pima County.
