Our Mission
The Arizona Community Health Workers Association (AzCHOW) was established in 2001, as a professional association of CHWs with the mission to provide a forum to inform and unite culturally diverse community health workers of all disciplines, to strengthen the professional development of the field through resource sharing and collaborative opportunities with community, government, health, and educational institutions.
Our Vision
AzCHOW’s vision is to have a strong, recognized, respected, and sustained CHW Workforce in Arizona; where CHWs/CHRs/Promotoras voices are included in every conversation/policy and or decision that impacts their profession.
